Card with 4 jettons, mostley wafer thin, used for casting accounts on exchequer boards in medieval days. they were madein the main bytwo or three family concerns in Nuremburg, Germany. The designs stamped on them are of Italian origin showing Byzantine influence. The Legends are in old German. They were used extenssively in Western Europe including this country
